Narrows Lodge located in Northern Manitoba offers
a wealth of interesting things to do. A three-day getaway to discover
some native traditions passed on by mouth from generation to generation.
This weekend will be a time of discovery, a time of learning and
will give you a greater appreciation of the culture of our First
Nations people.
You

carve soapstone into an intriguing image.
Lisa
Head will give a talk on the use of native medicinal
herbs and will guide you in the making of your own miniature teepee.

Theresa
Wride will guide you as you discover the art of Caribou Hair Tufting.
You will take home a wall hanging you’ve done.In addition,
we will be entertained by a group of first nation singers doing
a traditional chant.

More and more we are finding that Nature has already provided
us with what we need to improve health and vitality.
After a 3 p.m. coffee break, we will either work
