Operating Bylaws
Through
the implementing of these bylaws, BNL endeavors to
promote and maintain a clean, environmentally responsible
and friendly surrounding that protects and preserves
nature, privacy and the comforts and interests of
all those using BNL facilities. It is up to each of
us to do our part to maintain the beauty of these
surroundings and contribute to an atmosphere which
can be enjoyed by all.
1.
To maintain a camp setting and protect the integrity
of the law regarding BNL outfitters license, motor
homes, holiday trailers, tent trailers or other structures
may only be per permitted on a short term basis with
prior permission by BNL.
2. As above, tents, yurts or other
portable structures are discouraged and only permitted
with previous permission by BNL.
3. In order to ensure continuity
for esthetics, storage sheds may be erected for personal
use by cabin owners as long as they comply with location,
construction type and finish as specified by BNL
4. Alterations, changes or additions allowed in cabins
only with prior consent of BNL.
5. Bird baths, bird feeders, bird
houses are encouraged by BNL, but Lawn Ornaments,
Fences, Clothlines and other clutter that takes away
from the natural beauty are not permitted.
6. Open camp fires are a serious
threat to property and not allowed by government,
fire boxes supplied by BNL must be used for fires.
7. Compliance of fire bans is the
law when issued by natural resources and implemented
by BNL.
8. Cutting or removal of trees destroys
the natural beauty of the camp and will be permitted
with prior consent by BNL where a threat to person
or property is evident.
9. Flowers brighten up and add to
cabins and are permitted and encouraged. Unnecessary
cultivation of soil and vegetable gardens causes erosion
and are not permitted.
10. Adhering to posted speed zones,
quiet times and respectful use of facilities, property
and grounds are mandatory for the comfort and safety
of all.
11. Use of recreational vehicles
permitted providing they are operated in such a fashion
as not to create damage to nature or property, create
unacceptable noise levels, become a nuisance to other
camp guests and are used in designated areas by BNL.
12. For your safety and well being,
all watercraft must allow sufficient space for operation
of aircraft and always yield right of way. This is
the law. A no wake zone is also posted to keep water
traffic around docks at a minimal and safe speed.
13. Control of Pets is in your best
interest and others. To protect Children, Guests and
your Pets, Pets must always be supervised and under
control at all times. Problems due to waste or barking
of animals will be the responsibility of owners and
must be dealt with promptly.
14. No weapons shall be allowed for
hunting, snaring or trapping on BNL property with
the exception of nuisance situations which will be
addressed by BNL.
15. BNL has the right to enforce,
add to or change the bylaws of operation affecting
all persons on BNL property when deemed to be necessary
or prudent for the comfort, safety and good of those
persons using BNL property, and where negligence is
evident, charge the person responsible a reasonable
fee to correct, clean up, repair or restore to original
anything during their stay.
