Day
1
Arrive by air. Shuttle to Lodge from Airport. Check
in.
Lunch at Lodge
Orientation at Restaurant:
2:00p.m. Walk through park. Climb tower. Show Nature Trail.
3:00 p.m. Pontoon Boat Cruise. Drive by pictographs, old mine site,
Hudson’s Bay Island
7:00
p.m. Dinner at Lodge.
8.00
p.m.Option l: Slide Presentation – History of Flin Flon. Gain
an insight into the challenges faced by the early settlers to the
area.
Option 2: Table Games – Crib, Air Hockey, Scrabble etc.
9:30
p.m. Retire to Cabin. Use Hot Tub. Enjoy Aurora Borealis.
Day
2
7:00-8:00 a.m. Breakfast in Lodge
8:00
a.m. Option 1: Fly-out Fishing Day to remote location with guide.
Enjoy world class fishing, great scenery, beautiful photo opportunities
and excellent wilderness cuisine as your guide prepares a shore
lunch from your catch of the morning.
Option 2: Canoe trip along Mistik Creek (overnite in wilderness)
Your knowledgeable guide will point out species of wildlife tracks,
fish, loon nests, bear signs etc. You will “camp out’
in a tent overnight and enjoy wilderness cuisine.
7:00 p.m. Option 1: Returns from fishing day. Has Dinner in Restaurant.
Enjoys relaxing on deck in evening, hot tub, or fish for a while
later in evening.
Option 2: Overnites in tent on Mistik creek, with interpretive guide.

3
7-8:00 a.m. Option 1: Geological Tour. Geologist
guided tour of old mine, pan for gold, examine rock formations.
Lunch provided. Return to Lodge for evening dinner.
Option 2: Continues on canoe trip. Returns for evening dinner at
Lodge.
8:00 p.m. Experience a truly northern art form – Caribou Hair
Tufting. You will have the opportunity to make your own picture.
Day 4
7-8:00 a.m. Option 1: Tour of Flin Flon. Flin Flon
Museum, Boardwalk, Shopping opportunity. Visit Native Friendship
Centre. Return to lodge for lunch
Option 2: Exploring Native Traditions Workshop. Talk on meaning
of Teepee, and on the use of Native Medicinal Herbs for optimum
health. Located at Lodge, breaking at 1:00 p.m. for lunch.
1:00-2:00
Lunch
2:00 p.m. Option 1& 2: Travel to Northern Buffalo Sculptures
Gallery. See Native Art Display. Chat with Master Sculptor Irvin
Head and learn about meaning of various sculptures on display. Return
to Lodge
Free Time until Dinner at Lodge.
6:00 Evening Dinner at Lodge.

Willow Furniture Demonstration – for either option.
Day
5
7-8:00 a.m. Breakfast at Lodge.
Option 1: All-day Sculpting Class with world renown sculptor Irvin
Head. Break for lunch at 12:00. Class would go until late afternoon.
Option 2: Ride to The Pas to go to the Casino for the day. Lunch
in The Pas, return to lodge in time to evening Dinner.
6:00-8:00p.m. Dinner at Lodge.
Spend the evening playing horseshoes, volleyball, walking, swimming,
canoeing, kayaking or just enjoying visiting around the firepit
beside your cabin.

7-8:00 a.m. Breakfast at Lodge
Option 1: Denaire Beach Museum and Limestone Crevices tour. Get
an understanding of early life in the north and see the phenomenal
crevices in the rocks. Lunch at Rocky View restaurant. Return mid
afternoon.
Option 2: Trip to ______________Springs. Nature walk in beautiful
boreal forest. Identify floral species, bird species. Bagged Lunch.
Return mid afternoon.
6:00-8:00 p.m. Dinner at Lodge.
After dinner, enjoy use of paddle boats, canoes, kayaks, etc.
Day
7
7-8:00 a.m. Breakfast at Lodge.
Option 1: Flight to Waskuso Falls. Enjoy walking across the suspension
bridges at the falls and stop for a picnic lunch. Fly back by mid
afternoon.
Option 2: Guided Fishing day on Athapapuskow. Guide prepares a shore
lunch. Lots of great photo opportunities for birds, wildlife and
excellent fishing.
6:00-8:00 p.m. Dinner at Lodge. Wind-up Dinner features lots of
“made in Manitoba” dishes, deliciously prepared. After
dinner, swap stories of your week’s adventure, and pack up
to leave in the a.m.
